 Gulf Coast Cosmos Comics and The Center for Africana Futures at Texas Southern University present the world of Octavia E. Butler's PARABLE Series. Celebrate the highly anticipated release of Parable of the Talents- a prophetic masterpiece more relevant now than ever before. Join us for an immersive evening of literature, legacy, and liberation as we honor one of Afrofuturism’s greatest voices on Tuesday, April 23, 2025, from 7-9pm.

Eisner Award-winning artist, scholar, and co-creator of the graphic novel adaptations of Butler’s work, MEGASCOPE Graphic Arts founder/curator @johnjenningsart, will join us for an exclusive conversation and book signing.
